Cacti, Cocktails and Canapes at La Hacienda
Saturday 26th October 2024
Wander around this unique and internationally recognized garden, exploring the sumptuous plantings, art and mosaics scattered throughout the many garden rooms. You expect to spot Frida Kahlo around every corner painting the stunning plants, colours and birdlife and could be forgiven for thinking that you are in Mexico.
A garden featuring mainly Cacti and succulents is not everyone’s cup of tea, but this stunning garden is absolutely worth a visit by any gardener and I can almost guarantee that you will never see another one like it, combining the owner’s love of cacti and artistic talent, with conservation of precious water. Although covering two and a half acres in the centre of town, annual water bills hover around an amazingly low $50 per annum. An eclectic gardener, the owner combines trees, shrubs and specimen plants as foils for the cacti, succulents and art work.
Tickets are limited, so if you would like to attend this very special event and enjoy the gardens of La Hacienda Garden we suggest you secure your tickets early. Tickets can be purchased from The Kodja Place or via Humanitix https://rb.gy/brbsnt
