Tours of the Australian Heritage Roze Maze - Tales of the Three Women

*We wish to advise visitors that, due to recent pruning works within the Australian Heritage Rose Maze, the roses will not be in bloom for this year’s scheduled tours. We sincerely apologise to anyone who was looking forward to experiencing the Rose Maze in full bloom, particularly those who may have planned a visit specifically to see the roses. The Tours of the Australian Heritage Rose Maze will still proceed from 12 September to 11 October. While the roses will not be on display as originally anticipated, the maze’s beautiful mosaics and the stories behind them remain, and visitors will still have the opportunity to explore and learn about this unique part of Kojonup’s history.*
Discover the stories of three remarkable but very different women.
The Story of Yoondi, a local Kaneang, Noongar woman, whilst fictitious is based on fact and extensive research and approved by members of our local Noongar community. Elizabeth an English woman and Maria an Italian Woman draw from letters to loved ones and original journals. Stories are also to be seen in the mosaics and in the structures built in the Australian Heritage Rose Maze at Kodja Place. This is a moving and very special experience
